Charl Engelbrecht
Founder & Lead Engineer
CT Communications and Maintenance was started in 2019 as a maintenance company while Charl was working at Imax Wireless, which was the leader in telecommunications installation and maintenance for the leading service providers. Having met and worked with top developers in the field. As the company closed down, the opportunity was there for an upcoming company to step up and fill the void.
CT Maintenance was founded in 2019 and registered as the brand CT Communications and Maintenance in 2026. Experience in telecommunications since 2016. Also involved in projects for role players in the mining industry.
Charl specialises in fiber optic installation, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), RF engineering, and structured cabling. He has led projects for leading corporate clients, shopping centres, hospitals, stadiums, corporate office parks, and data centres across Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Bloemfontein, and Port Elizabeth. Service providers include MTN, Vodacom, Telkom, and Cell C.
